Abstract

본 발명은 고속 스캐너를 이용하여 금형의 성형 표면에 대하여 저입열의 레이저빔을 지그재그 형상의 조사패턴을 따라 일정 열처리속도로 조사하여 금형의 성형 표면층을 소입온도까지 급속 가열함과 동시에, 냉각에어로 급속 냉각시켜 성형 표면층의 내마모성과 내피로성을 향상시키며, 상기 고속 스캐너를 로봇과 연계 설치하여 금형의 형상과 위치에 무관하게 열처리를 진행할 수 있도록 함으로써, 범용성을 갖는 금형의 열처리방법을 제공한다. 레이저, 저입열, 지그재그, 열처리, 급속가열, 급속냉각
PURPOSE: A method of performing heat treatment on a mold is provided to enhance abrasion resistance and fatigue resistance of a surface layer by rapidly cooling with cold air and perform heat treatment regardless of the shape and position of the mold. CONSTITUTION: A method of performing heat treatment on a mold comprises next steps. For the surface(F) of a mold(10), low heat input of laser beam is radiated in a given pitch of a zigzag shape of a radiating pattern is radiated at a given speed to rapidly heat the surface of the mold to a quenching temperature to form a heat dependent part. The low heat input of laser beam(LB) is radiated through a high-speed scanner(5), which is mounted on the leading end of the arm(3) of a robot. The heat dependent part of the mold heated to the quenching temperature is rapidly cooled by cold air, which is sprayed through an air nozzle at a given spraying speed.
